5TPA is able to BREAK-IN your new glove and REPAIR your old glove.

GLOVE BREAK-IN:

New Glove? Break it in the right way. Allow 5TPA to either help you break-in your new glove or do the break-in for you.

OPTION 1: 5TPA HELP.

You rent 5TPA’s Iron Mike pitching machine for $15.00 for every 30 minutes.

With the help of Coach Doug or Coach Jason and 5TPA’s Iron Mike pitching machine, your player will catch 250 balls from the machine in 30 minutes.

With every catch, the glove will break-in to your player’s hand and your player will also be working on catching skills.

Depending on the type of glove and your player’s catching skills, this process typically takes 30 mins but could take longer. The glove will be ready for use at the next tryout, practice, or game.

OPTION 2: 5TPA BREAK-IN.

5TPA uses the “Senne Super-Secret Glove Break-in Process”

Break-in: $60.00.

Using the Senne Super-Secret Process, 5TPA will break-in your player’s glove to about 80% broken-in. Typically, this part of the process takes 48 hours to complete. You will schedule an appointment to finish the break-in process. The final step of the process is to have your player catch baseballs that will be thrown by 5TPA’s Iron Mike pitching machine. Your player’s glove will be completely broken-in after catching 125 balls off of the machine.

Included in the “Coach Doug Break-in Process”:

Conditioning, Shaping, Lace Tightening, and 15 minutes Iron Mike Rental.

GLOVE REPAIR:

Get your glove back into game-shape by re-conditioning, re-shaping, and/or re-lacing it.

To get the longest life out of your glove, Coach Doug recommends a re-conditioning and re-shaping before each season.

Bring your glove to Coach Doug and after a quick assessment, he will let you know what your glove needs.

OPTION 1: Re-conditioning: $10.00

Your glove will be cleaned and a leather conditioner will be applied. This process takes 24 hours to complete.

OPTION 2: Re-shaping: $30.00

Depending on the glove, re-shaping and re-conditioning takes 48 hours to re-shape.

Re-conditioning is FREE with each Re-shaping.

OPTION 3: Re-lacing: $50.00 plus $10.00 for each lace used for the repair.

Typically, a glove has 4 laces. Your glove may not need to have all 4 replaced.

Depending on the number of laces that need to be repaired, and type of glove, re-lacing, re-shaping, and re-conditioning takes 48-72 hours to complete.

Re-conditioning and Re-shaping are FREE with each Re-lacing.

I recommend the GLOVE GUARD; $25.00 each.

The Glove Guard is a molded, hard piece of plastic that has a Velcro strap. It fits in the pocket of left-hand wearing ball gloves to deepen the pocket of your glove for added on-field performance. It also doubles, even triples the life of your glove by providing valuable protection during storage or travel. There are two sizes: 1) glove sizes up to 11.75” (color black) and 2) glove sizes 12” and up (color blue).
